fan n ': --li ,nn 9 v ks' ' L link R Ripley C Stanley S Stradlmg The Junior Class began this school year by elect ing its class officers Bob Karpp was elected President Sid Smith Vice President Nancy INIX Treasurer Sam Stradling, Secretary. Also at the beginning of the year our Student Council members were elected. Tom Fitzpatrick and Carol Nelson were re-elected, while Tony Amendola was elected for his first yearon the Council. In the elections for officers of the Council, Tom Fitzpatrick was chosen Treasurer, while Carol Nelson was seated as Secretary. This year the Junior Class had outstanding athletes in Bob Karpp, Tony Amendola, Sid Smith, and Tom Fitzpatrick who participated in the major sports. The Junior Class sponsored two concessions this year:one at the Chittenango football game with adance afterwards, and the other at the basketball game with the same team. Tuzzo N Watson L Nelson A Warren M Merkt J Vandawalker M Palmer Back Row F Phelps Carol Nelson and Darlene Horton landed berths on the Cheerleading Squad while Delphine Austin was elected as Sports Council delegate The girls proved their capabilities in sports by placing Martha Palmer, Marge Merkt, Jayne Knowlton, Darlene Horton, Carol Nel- son, Dorothy Gorton, Rosemary Moon, Sylvia Adams, Nancy Nix, Nancy Smith, Katherine Bemis, Alice Warren and Roni Lou French on various sports teams. Many musicians have come out of the Junior Class. Participating in either Band or Orchestra are Fred Phelps, Bob Lamb, Gordon Stanley, Delphine Austin, Ed Link, Jayne Knowlton, Carol Nelson, and Martha Palmer as Drum Majorette. Sylvia Adams and Tony Amendola were our lead- ing dramatic prospects, both starring in plays held in November. With our class so active we feel it has been a highly successful year.

Bemis SUPHUMUPIE CLASS The Sophomore Class has five cheerleaders: Kath- erine Evans and Judy Moore on the Varsity squad, and Marian Thro and Pat Siebert on the Junior Varsity squad. Jean Galler is the head cheerleader of the J. V. squad. Brian Walsh, Jack Olmstead, Dick Breitenstein, Glade Cook, Tom Rausa, Gordon Duheme, David Morgan and Richard Chapin played on the football team this year. The Sophomores playing basketball this year were Tom Rausa, Dick Breitenstein, James Mitchell, David Morgan and Brian Vvalsh. The Sophomore Class started this year by electing its officials. Sue Schapiro and Leigh Fitchen were chosen as representatives to the Student Council. Brian Walsh was chosen President, Harold Rollins, Vice-Presidentg Catherine Rogers, Secretary, and William Fairchild, T reasurer of the class. There were two new members of the class, Patricia Verro, from Canastota, and William Fairchild, from Madison Central School. Peter Koenig is spending a year in Vienna, Austria, and Kim Mundt is in Washington for the year. Both of them are expected back next year.
