FOURTH GRADE Our fourth grade started out wzth thxrty two members Two people moved to Calxforma and one to Cortland N Y , leavxng us wlth twenty mne members We have completed several projects thxs year among them umt on Colonxal Days Our grade took over the Assembly at Thanksgxvmg tune and several of us took part 1n the Chrxstmas Pageant We have been very 'poho consczous ' thxs year for one of the members of our class R1chard Crumb was strxcken w1th the dread dxsease We contrlbuted S12 50 from our class alone toward the March of Dmmes' In Soc1al Studles we have completed umts on Alaska and Ch1ldren We are wrxtmg letters to some poho pat1ents 1n a Recon structmn Hosp1tal We have spent a busy year and have enjoyed our fourth grade work Mane C Rourke A busy and happy year was enjoyed by the thu-ty one members of tlus sectzon One of our fnrst accomphshments was a Halloween play we presented at Assembly It was fun collectxng Indxan rel1cs for a dxsplay to wlnch we 1nv1ted all the grades Our sand table later d1d double duty as a snow scene for our Eslumo mmxatures Our most CXC1t1Ilg adventure of the year however was sendmg letters and scrapbooks to s1x chxldren who are pol1o patzents 1n an Iowa hosp1tal We were happy to be able to cheer them up Patrlcla McKendr1ck , Q I . .
