JUNIOR CLASS SUMMARY Nmeteen F1fty One proved to be a bang up year for the Jun1ors Led by such able off1cers as Don Fxscher presldent Jane :nebert v1ce presmdent Ahce Kessler, secretary and Larry Adams treasurer we started the year r1ght by orderxng our class rmgs early A money makmg carnpa1gn was soon put underway We sold hot dogs and cokes at the Morr1sv11le football game and candy at the One1da basketball game W also held a dance after a game 1n the gym Our representahves on the Student Counc1l were Mary Lawson, Jeanne Nelson and Fd Vantlne Jeanne and Ed were later elected secretary and treasurer r spectlvely The Red Cross was also largely populated w1th Jun1ors Joan Gr1ff1th Joan Shadle Don F1scher Larry Adams, Ahce Towsley and Sylvma Solllen helped Mxss Cook wxth her work The faces of many of us were seen 1n th band and orchestra and we were well represented at the mus1c fest1val In the f1eld of sports both boys' and glrls' we outd1d ourselves Gulbran Larry K1nney, B1llKoen1g, Jack Martxneau Merw1n Mayne Almon P1Ck8rd Albert P1erson and Ed Vantme played football Larry Adams, Don F1scher, Walt Gorton and Ed Vantlne also played varsxty basketball Many grrls partzcmpated 1n hockey volleyball and basketball both mterscholastxc and xntramural To cheer the boys on we had Mary Lawson Jeanne Nelson and Jane Slebert as Vars1ty cheerleaders and Nccla Benson leanor Burgess and Jane Roberts as .Tumor Vars1ty cheerleaders In th fl ld of drama many Jumors went out for plays and part1c1pated 1n PTIZE speakmg We all are look1ng forward to a successful Semor year as the class of '52 Too soon we must leave our hzgh school memorxes Many thanks to Mr Pzerce our homeroom teacher who has been very tol rant and helpful Alzce K ssler Secretary . . , . e . . . . . .
