SEVENTH GRADE When a person reaches seventh grade, he has reached the po1nt where he xs begmmng to grow up Anyone should enjoy be1ng ln seventh grade because of the lnterestzng t1mes he has 1n all of h1s classes and also passmg from class to class IS new for hxm Another excltmg and new experlence for hmm IS the exper1ments he does and the tr1ps he takes 1n scxence When the seventh grade was study1ng rocks they Walt on a f1e1d tr1p lookmg for dlfferent kxnds of rocks All of the students took hammers and chxsels and collected many spec1mens Another tmp that the seventh grade scxence class took that everyone llked was the jaunt 1nto the Col gate Museum to look at more rocks Mrs Sholes teaches her seventh grade scunce class 1n such an mterestmg way, that everyone enjoys lt In B nghsh all of the puplls seemed to be havmg qu1te a b1t of trouble w1th the do 's and don'ts' of grammer However, w1th such a good teacher as M1ss Lally most of the pup11s are gettmg the swlng of grammer now New York State. all year and everyone th1nks that Mrs Ames IS a f1ne teacher A term project on New York State IS due from all of the pupxls on May lst, and lt seems l1ke everyone 15 gomg to have xt 1n on t1me Pup1ls 1n math 1n seventh grade have been learmng qu1te a lot of new mater1al all year such as decxmals, matters deal 1ng 1n mterest, lcarmng about banks and how they operate and other mater1al Most of the pupxls agree that Mr Moore's math class IS qu1te 1nterest1ng and just about everyone learns somethmg To help the puplls of the seventh and erghth grades become accustomed to dancmg and goxng to partxes an 1dea of Mrs Sholes was carrxed out Thxs 1dea was a punch party w1th all of the pupxls of seventh and e1ghth grade attendlng Some of the pup1l's parents came as chaperones and most of the teachers attended the party whmch was qu1te a success . , . . , . . .
