THE MASQUERS This society, formerly the Powder and Puff' Club, is the main dramatic club in the school. The meetings are held on the first Wednesday night in every month. IOYCE WILLIAMS Program Chairman DESSA HIL'FON Each year the Masquers Society sponsors the Prize Speaking Contest held in February. This organization also competes with several other schools in a one- act play contest. The contest was held in Cazenovia this spring. THE LEADERSHIP CLUB The Leadership Club was formed during the year 1955 hy a group of non- resident students under the direction of Mr. Young. The purpose of this club is to furnish organized entertainment for all the non- resident pupils during the noon hour. Only non-residents are allowed to become members. THE THESPIANS The Thespians, a comparatively new dramatic club, started the year with a successful drive for new members. This club, having the largest membership in school, meets every other Tuesday morning. It supplies experience in plays and prize-speaking for those interested in dramatics but not eligible for Masquers. Program committees provide the pro- gram for each meeting which includes one-act plays, skits and readings. At Christmas the club had a Christmas tree and party, at which time the members exchanged gifts.
