HAMILTON FUTURE FARMERS Learning to do, doing to learn, earning to live, living to serve. The Future Farmers' organization is one of the most active in the school, tak- ing part in many affairs outside of our own school. This year, they sent judging teams to the Morrisville, Canton and Cornell judging contests and will also have a team at the Delhi contest which comes later in the year. They have continued to uphold Hamilton traditions in making high scores in all contests. Their most successful one was the Canton contest at St. Lawrence University where they had two first places, and third place for the entire contest. Recreation, in the form of a basketball team playing boys from Cornell Short Course, alumni and others, had its past in the year's activities. A Wiener and corn roast and a wood chopping contest also provided enjoyment. The members of the agricultural evening school were guests at their annual banquet this year at which the homemakers gave their services in preparing an excellent meal in their rooms. A few members of this group will go to New York City, Long Island and cen- tral New Iersey on a Farm Management trip during the spring vacation. Hamilton feels proud to have Eugene Lamb as the district president of the Central Highland section of the State Future Farmers.
