V MADELINE ELIZABETH EDELL Lynn 148 Mather Street From Putnam Avenue School, Madeline entered Hamden High School where she participated in intramurals and the various ping- pong tournaments. Madeline numbers ping-pong. record collect- ing and dancing among her hobbies. Madeline has no definite plans for the coming year. GEORGE THOMAS EPPS Corrigan Epps 35 Dudley Street Grade School: Newhall Street George sang with the Boys' Glee Club and A-Cappella Choir and also played junior varsity football while at Hamden. George numbers traveling and tennis among his hobbies. George plans to study music after graduation. LOUISE ANN ESPOSITO Sue Railroad Avenue Grade School: Mt. Carmel Louise has been a member of the Bowling Club and the Home Economics Club. Music. dancing and sports are Louise's hobbies. Louise hopes to be a telephone operator after graduation. ARLINE ABIGAIL EVANS Gail ll74 Whitney Avenue Grade School: Putnam Avenue Arline has participated in the Homemaking Club. Freshman Girls' Glee Club, the Needlework Club, and the Girls' Reserves. Also, for the past three years. Arline has been a member of the Band, Arline lists tennis. skating, dancing and sports among her favorite hobbies. Arline's plans for the future are not complete. ANN AGNES FEE Ginger ll6 Elmer Street Grade School: State Street While in Hamclen she has taken part in field hockey and basket- ball. She is interested in dancing, swimming and music. He ,has been active in football and track and he's interested in driving. mechanics and in aviation. Bill plans to work after graduation. MARY ALICE DONLEAVY Molly 83 Greenway Street Mary Alice came to Hamden from the Spring Glen School. While at Hamden she took an active part in the Freshman Dramatic Club, intramurals, the Swimming Club and was a member of the business board of The Dial, THE VENTURE editorial board and thc Mixed Glee Club. Mary Alice enjoys fashions as a hobby. Mary Alice will continue her education after graduation. ELINOR MARIE EARLE MEN-,, 1 1301 Dixwell Avenue Grade School: Church Street Elinor has been active in the Bowling Club and the Homemaking Club. Elinor's hobbies are music. sports. dancing and bowling. Elinor intends to continue in commercial work after graduation. STELLA THERESA EDELE Stella Dallas Wooding Street After being graduated from Helen Street School, Stella came to Hamden High, where she was a member of the Home Economics Club. Her favorite subjects are office practice and home-making, and she enjoys music, reading, sewing and outdoor sports. Stella is undecided as to what she will do after graduation. ROBERT REGAN ECK Eck, the Wreck 59 Carew Road Bob came to Hamden from St. Francis' Parochial School and Hillhouse High School. He has been a member of the Glee Clubs. Bowling Club, Debating Club and the dramatic groups. Bob is interested in dramatics. golf, tennis, bowling and dancing. Next year he plans to attend Norwich University. Vt., or Yale Uni- versity. Cheshire Grade School: Humiston Alyce is the secretary of the Student Council. a member of The Cupola business board, the Glee Club, the Quiz Club, the Look Around Club and the Dramatic Club. She is interested in drawing and music. Alyce plans to attend Connecticut University next fall. MARY PHILOMENA FLYNN Phil 20 Filbert Street Grade School: Spring Glen Phil has been a member of the Glee Club and the A-Capella Choir as well as the Dress Designing Club and the business board of The Cupola. Her interests outside of school are art. reading, swim- ming and music. Phil plans to attend college next fall. HELEN CATHERINE EOLEY DoIey 92 Church Street Grade School: Church Street As her favorite sport is swimming, Helen has been a member of the Swimming Club for two years.
