Marie plans to attend the Junior College of Physiotherapy. During his freshman year John was a member of the Glee Club. John's plans for the com- ing year are incomplete. MARY JANE DESMOND Maple Avenue. North Haven Grade School: Center School At Hamden, Mary Jane became interested in intramurals, the traffic squad and the Freshman Girls' Glee Club in addition to be- ing a home room secretary. Mary Jane's chief interests are dental work, dancing and swimming. In September Mary Jane plans to attend Forsyth, in Boston. to study dental hygiene. In Hamden her activities have been Photography Club. Driving Club and circulation board of The Dial. Bernadette en- joys reading, meeting people, dancing, swimming, tennis and trav- eling. She plans to enter St. Raphael's Hospital and become an army or specialized nurse. THERESA LAURA DeANGEI.O Dutchy New Road Theresa was graduated from the Mt. Carmel School. Theresa has been active in the Bowling Club while at high school. Music. dancing, bowling and sports are Theresa's favorite hobbies, while oflice practice has been her favorite subject. In the coming year Theresa hopes to continue in commercial work. James' chief pastimes include voice culture, business administration, popular music and sports. He ,has been active in football and track and he's interested in driving. mechanics and in aviation. Bill plans to work after graduation. MARY ALICE DONLEAVY Molly 83 Greenway Street Mary Alice came to Hamden from the Spring Glen School. While at Hamden she took an active part in the Freshman Dramatic Club, intramurals, the Swimming Club and was a member of the business board of The Dial, THE VENTURE editorial board and thc Mixed Glee Club. Mary Alice enjoys fashions as a hobby. Mary Alice will continue her education after graduation. ELINOR MARIE EARLE MEN-,, 1 1301 Dixwell Avenue Grade School: Church Street Elinor has been active in the Bowling Club and the Homemaking Club. Elinor's hobbies are music. sports. dancing and bowling. Elinor intends to continue in commercial work after graduation. STELLA THERESA EDELE Stella Dallas Wooding Street After being graduated from Helen Street School, Stella came to Hamden High, where she was a member of the Home Economics Club. Her favorite subjects are office practice and home-making, and she enjoys music, reading, sewing and outdoor sports. Stella is undecided as to what she will do after graduation. ROBERT REGAN ECK Eck, the Wreck 59 Carew Road Bob came to Hamden from St. Francis' Parochial School and Hillhouse High School. He has been a member of the Glee Clubs. Bowling Club, Debating Club and the dramatic groups. Bob is interested in dramatics. golf, tennis, bowling and dancing. Next year he plans to attend Norwich University. Vt., or Yale Uni- versity.
