In Hamden her activities have been Photography Club. Driving Club and circulation board of The Dial. Bernadette en- joys reading, meeting people, dancing, swimming, tennis and trav- eling. She plans to enter St. Raphael's Hospital and become an army or specialized nurse. THERESA LAURA DeANGEI.O Dutchy New Road Theresa was graduated from the Mt. Carmel School. Theresa has been active in the Bowling Club while at high school. Music. dancing, bowling and sports are Theresa's favorite hobbies, while oflice practice has been her favorite subject. In the coming year Theresa hopes to continue in commercial work. ANGELO GEORGE DeCAPUA ' 'Prof 1781 State Street Grade School: State Street During Angelo's freshman year, he was a member of The Dial circulation board, and a member of the Music Club. Piano playing, swimming, golf and stamp collecting are Angelo's hobbies. Angelo plans to attend Yale University in September. JAMES MICHEAI. DECERBO 4'Jimmie 107 North Street Grade School: Margaret I.. Keefe James' interests at Hamden have centered on the trafic squad and the Photography Club. James' chief pastimes include voice culture, business administration, popular music and sports. Upon being graduated James plans to attend Columbia Univers' to pur- sue studies in business administration. . J 3 J- VITO DeLUIGI Del 865 Dixwell Avenue Vito was graduated from Newhall Street Sc ool. He was a member of the Tumbling Club, the Swimming Club and the Fenc- ing Club. I-Iis chief interests are archery, knife-throwing, hiking and underwater swimming. SETH LEE COWLES, JR. Spring Street, Cheshire Lee came to Hamden from Humiston School in Cheshire. He has been a member of the Visual Aid Club and the Model Boat Club here at high school. and his hobby is the theatre. Lee plans to work a year before going to college. ANNA CRETELLA Ann 6 0 Second Street Anna was graduated from Margaret L. Keefe School and here at Hamden High she has been in the Girls' Glee Club and on the editorial board of the Cupola. Her favorite subjects are English and typing. and she is interested in sports and in journalism. She likes music and enjoys roller-skating and dancing. She is not cer- tain what she will do next year. GLORIA ANGELA CRISCUOLO Shorty 8 Paramount Avenue Grade School: Putnam Avenue In high school Gloria belonged to the Band, the Orchestra and Freshman Girls' Glee Club. Gloria likes music and is interested in nursing. Gloria's plans for next year are indefinite. EDWARD C. CROTTY Scotty 61 Oberlin Road Edward attended the Bassett Junior High School and Hillhouse before entering Hamden. Edward's activities here included Student Council. intramurals and varsity basketball. Among his interests are music and all types of sports. Upon being graduated, Edward plans to attend Notre Dame. ANNE RUTH CURTIS 1768 Whitney Avenue Grade School: Spring Glen Anne has been active in the Tinkering Club, the Pottery Club, the Swimming Club, and the business board of The Dial. Marie plans to attend the Junior College of Physiotherapy. JOHN DePINTO DeP1'nto 29 Bayley Avenue Grade School: Church Street John was interested in athletics, being a gym assistant, a mem- ber of the track and football teams. During his freshman year John was a member of the Glee Club. John's plans for the com- ing year are incomplete. MARY JANE DESMOND Maple Avenue. North Haven Grade School: Center School At Hamden, Mary Jane became interested in intramurals, the traffic squad and the Freshman Girls' Glee Club in addition to be- ing a home room secretary. Mary Jane's chief interests are dental work, dancing and swimming. In September Mary Jane plans to attend Forsyth, in Boston. to study dental hygiene.
