Bob's interest is airplanes and as a hobby he collects airplanes and airplane pictures. He would like to make the army a career and specialize in the aircraft unit. I ANGELENA MARIE CAROLLA 84 Alstrum Street JR ..Ange,. xlxlkngelena came to Hamden as a graduate of Dixwell Avenue chool. She has belonged to the Home Economics Club in Ham- den. Angelena has also participated in volleyball. badminton and ping-pong. Bowling and dancing are her hobbies. Next year An- gelena plans to get an ofhce job. ELEANOR NELLIE CAROLLA HEI., 902 Dixwell Avenue Grade School: Margaret L. Keefe El has been a member of the Italian Club, the girls' intra- murals, the Home Economics and the Home Making Club. She likes reading and all sports. Next year Eleanor plans to enter a nursing school. NANCY ELIZABETH CARTER Nan Highland Avenue, Cheshire Grade School: Spring Glen While in Hamden Nancy has been a member of the circulation board of The Dial and Public Speaking Club. She enjoys dancing and reading. Next year Nancy is going into training for nursing. SUSAN LOUISE CARTWRIGHT Sue 55 Brookside Drive Grade School: Spring Glen In her sophomore year in high school Susan was a member of the Glee Club. In her junior and senior years she worked on The Dial board and in the senior year worked on both The Cupola and THE VENTURE. Susan is fond of horses and all outdoor sports. Besides participating in boys' intramurals. he has been on the hockey team for three years and also on the boys' bowling team. He likes bowling. skating and swimming. His plans for next year are as yet undecided. WILLIAM ANDREW BUTLER Bill 28 Robert Street Grade School: Church Street Bill has been president of the Athletic Council and a mem- ber of THE VENTURE business board as well as being an active participant in the sports program. He has been on the track and basketball teams, has taken part in intramurals. and has been a member of the Tumbling Club. Besides sports he also likes current events. She likes reading, dancing and sewing and plans to enter a school of nursing in the coming year. CHARLES CATANIA Count 68 Church Street Before coming to Hamden. Charles attended Fair Haven High and Commercial High. While with us he has been active in foot- ball and track and has been a member of the Glee Club, the Music Club and the A-Capella Choir. He plans to enter business. DAVID E. CATANIA WJ Doc I fb 205 Helen Street Grade School: Helen Street In high school Doc has been a member of the Scout Leader- ship Club, the Slide Rule Club and has been treasurer of the Stamp Club. He likes all sports. Next year David will continue his work as shoe salesman at Alpert's and then enter either the University of Connecticut or the United States Army.
