He is especially interested in music. Next year Spencer plans to attend college. EDWARD CHARLES ALLEN Michey Mouse 145 Church Street Grade School: St. Francis While in high school Edward was on the hockey squad, joined the Golf Club and the stage crew. He is interested in commercial lettering and art. Next year Ed is entering the A. C. Gilbert Co. as an assistant in the advertising department. NANNETTE ANN AULETTA Nan 41 Collins Street Grade School: Margaret L. Keefe While in high school Nan joined the Girls' Choir, The Dial editorial board and the Driving Club. She is interested in swim- ming, dancing and traveling. Next year Nan hopes to go to Katherine Gibbs. ARNOLD CHAITE KAUFMAN Koffee Shepard Avenue Arnold. president of the senior class, came to Hamden from Cen- terville Grammar School. At Hamden he was a member of the varsity football squad. Debating Club, Dramatic Club and boys' intramurals. Arnold's hobbies are public speaking and dramatics. Arnold placed second in the state oratorical contest sponsored by the American Legion, He plans to enter Bates College. twwk -rf- ' PETER JOHN ALBERTINI Killer 30 Elmer Avenue Grade School: Church Street Pete has been active in the Student Government and sports here at Hamden. He was a member of the baseball, basketball and foot- ball teams. He is vice- resident of the senior class has served on . p , the Student Council, and on the Prom Committee for two years. After graduation Pete plans to'attend the Junior College of Com- ITICYCQ. PAUL REBUCCI HD 3 2821 Dixiirlll Avenue 099, Grade School: Centerville Paul has been a member of the Stamp and Bowling Clubs. He has also served as treasurer of the Class of 1941 for the last three years and has been assistant manager of the hockey team for one year and manager for two years. Paul enjoys all sports, particu- larly hockey. swimming and bowling. Next year he plans to at- tend Boston University nnd hopes to become a certiiied public ac- countant. NELLIE ROSE-MARIE DEPALMA Chubby Dee 22 Armstrong Street Grade School: State Street Nellie's activities included the Glee Club. A-Cappella Choir. traffic squad, Student Council, Photography Club and Senior Prom Committee. In her senior year, Nellie was secretary of her class. Nellie's hobbies include dancing, sports, reading. photography and skating. Next year Nellie will attend a junior college. MERWYN DAVID Murph 30 Helen Street Grade School: Helen Street Merwyn has served on the business board of The Dial. the Prom Committee, the Athletic Council, and has had the honor of being the president of his class for two years. In addition to this. Mer- wyn was president of the Driving Club. Merwyn enjoys all sports and domestic and foreign affairs. In September Merwyn plans to attend the University of Michigan. CAROLINE ELIZABETH AXELL 140 Hawthorne Avenue Grade School: Spring Glen While in high school Caroline participated in the Swimming. Red Cross and the Home Economics Clubs. Her hobbies are skat- ing, skiing and bowling. Next year Caroline intends to go to busi- ness school. NORMA BACON 38 Piper Road Before entering Hamden, Norma attended Orange Street School and Commercial High School. She likes dancing and roller skating and her hobby is collecting swing records.
