AMDEN GH MICHAEL GAUDIO Speed 128 North Street Michael was graduated from Dixwell Avenue Grammar School. His activities at Hamden High School included membership in the Italian Club and the Rifle Club. He has also been captain of the Bowling Team. Bowling and hunting are his favorite sports. Next year Michael plans to attend business college. NANCY JANE GEIGER Nan Main Street, Cheshire . Before coming to Hamden High School, Nancy attended Humis- ton Grammar School, Cheshire. In Hamden she has been a member of the Stage Design Club. For hobbies she selects drawing and reading. After graduation Nancy plans to attend art school. DONALD GELINAS Don 44 Wayland Street Donald was graduated from the Spring Glen Grammar School. In Hamden he has participated in the Boys' Glee Club and the Mixed Glee Club, and he has also been a member of the Track Team. He chooses football and swimming as his favorite sports. Next year Donald plans to attend college. FRANCES GOLDBLATT Fran 211 Augur Street M Frances attended the Sheridan Junior High School and Hillhousc before coming to Hamden. While at Hamden her activities have included membership on The Dial editorial board and in the French Club. Knitting, ice-skating, and swimming are her hobbies. Frances plans to attend the University of Connecticut. MURRAY GOLLINGER 91 Second Street Murray came to Hamden High School after being graduated from Pine Street Grammar School. He has been a member of the orchestra, the Traflic Squad, and the Swimming Club. He has also been a member of the Student Council. He chooses bowling and swimming as his favorite sports. AMDEN GH CAROLINE EVELYN GAEFNEY 67 Haverford Street t Caroline was graduated from Spring Glen School. In Hamden she joined the Glee Club and the Tap Dancing Club. She was also interested in woodworking. Caroline's hobbies are ice-skating, swimming, and reading. She is undecided in plans for next year. JOE FRANCIS GAGE Joe 85 Putnam Avenue e Joe was graduated from Putnam Avenue School. He was an active member of both the band and orchestra, in which he plays the bassoon. He has served on the Traflic Squad, and was a member of the Radio Service and Hi-Y Clubs. Joe is most interested in chemistry, but his plans for next year are undecided. ALBERT JOSEPH GAMBARDELLA HAI., 20 Oregon Avenue Albert attended Church Street School. In Hamden High he played on an intramural basketball team. He is interested in shop and machine work, and his hobbies are tumbling, swimming, hockey, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. Next year he plans to enter the Navy. HELEN ROSALIE GARMAN 165 Thornton Street Helen received her first diploma from Spring Glen School. At Hamden she played in the band and orchestra, joined the Slide Rule Club, the Girls' Woodworking Club, and the music clubs, and was a member of the editorial staff of THE VENTURE. Her hobbies are music and tennis. Helen plans to go to college next fall. W. DENNIS NEIL GARVEY X Denn1'e . K 254 Putnam Avenue Dennis entered Hamden High from the Putnam Avenue School. AMDEN GH GORDON HARRIS GRAHAM Duke 2 5 5 Thornton Street Before coming to Hamden, Gordon attended Spring Glen Gram- mar School. He has been a member of the Slide Rule Club. Gordon selects swimming, basketball, football, and hockey as his favorite sports. After being graduated from Hamden High School, Gordon plans to attend college. DOROTHY GLORIA GRANDINETTI Dottie g 1972 Dixwell Avenue Dorothy was graduated from Church Street School. In Hamden she participated in the intramural volley-ball tournament and was a member of the Dress Design Club. She collects books as a hobby, and lists ice-skating. swimming, and riding among her favorite sports. She plans to attend the Wilfred Beauty Academy in Brooklyn. LAURETTA ELIZABETH GRANT 30 Glenby Street Lauretta was graduated from the Helen Street School. Her activi- ties in Hamden High School included participation in the girls! intramurals. Her chief interests and hobbies are skating. dancing and reading. Her plans for the future are indefinite. BARBARA STEARNS GRAY Bob 29 Westminster Street Barbara attended public school in New York and was graduated from Centerville. Her activities have included participation in the A-Capella Choir, badminton, and tennis tournaments. Her favorite sports include badminton, horseback riding, and tennis, She plans to attend junior college next year. ANGELINA MARY GRECO l nAngl'e:9 88 Marlboro Street Angelina attended the Newhall Street Grammar School. She has participated in the following activities: volley-ball, basketball, and social dancing. She lists swimming, bowling, and skating among her favorite sports and collects pictures as a hobby. Her plans for the future are undecided at present. Page Twenty-nine
