AMDEN IGH War 1940 ALBERT STEPHEN FABIAN NAII: W 41 Lake Street Albert attended Putnam Avenue School. In Hamden High he was business manager of The Dial and assistant business manager of TI-IE VENTURE. He belonged to the Model Airplane Club and the Boys' Cooking Club. Al is interested in sports writing, baseball, and stamp collecting. He plans to attend Yale University. INES ANGELINA FALCHERO UI., 2868 Dixwell Avenue Ines was graduated from Centerville School. During her fresh- man year at Hamden High she joined the Social Dancing Club. Her hobbies are dancing, swimming, bowling, tennis, and reading. Ines wishes to become an office assistant. MARIE MARCELLA FAUGNO 33 Haverford Street Marie was graduated from Union Grammar School and trans- ferred to Hamden from Commercial High. Her hobbies are singing and dancing. Her plans for the future are indefinite, but she may continue with office work. FRANKLIN IRVING FICKETT Torchy 55 Homestead Avenue Franklin earned his first diploma at Church Street School. In Hamden he joined the band, orchestra, and Hi-Y. His interests are in aviation, music, fishing, hiking, and stamp collecting. Upon graduation he hopes to attend the University of Maine. ANGELINA MARIE FILIPELLI .,Ang,. 484 Newhall Street - Angelina was graduated from Newhall Street School. In Hamden High she entered intramural basketball and volley-ball. AMDEN IGH L EZ 1949 JOSEPH W. DRAZAN Joe e Edgewood Avenue Joseph was graduated from Centerville Grammar School. In Hamden he has been especially active in the woodworking classes. He enjoys playing golf and is interested in electricity and in Wood- work. Joseph plans to enter the electrical business. HENRY EGG Hank 54 Bradley Avenue Henry came to Hamden after attending Helen Street School and the Bassett Junior High School. While at Hamden he has been an active member of the Rifle Club. His hobbies are photography, shooting, and collecting swing records. Henry plans to work after graduation and then to study mechanical engineering at Pratt Institute. OTTILLIE ANN ENDICOTT JV I Tillie Q0 63 Ralston Avenue 0 Ottillie was graduated from Putnam Avenue School. She has served on the business board of The Dial and has been a member of the Glee Club, the Spectators' Club, and the French Club, She has played intramural basketball and Held hockey. She is interested in interior decorating. Ottillie plans to attend the Mascot Junior College in Thompson, Connecticut. Shorty 2 8 Francis Avenue FNJGLEEN CONSTANCE ERWIN Eileen came to Hamden High from the Putnam Avenue School. She has been in the Archery Club, the Swimming Club, the Home Economics Club, and of the Mixed Glee Club. Her interests are sports, dancing, and radio programs. She hopes to train for physical therapy work. JOHN HENRY EVANS, JR. , Johnnie 1174 Whitney Avenue John was graduated from Putnam Avenue School. In Hamden High he joined the orchestra and the Hi-Y Club. He is interested in working with boys. He plans to go to California next summer, and may possibly continue with Hi-Y work. Page Twenty-four

AMDEN IGH X X , 1940 NICHOLAS MARIO FIORE Nick 2 74 Morse Street Nick came to Hamden High from Newhall Street School. He was in the Italian Club, served as bookkeeper for the A. A.. and worked in the school bank. Nick enjoys playing the piano. ln sports he likes tennis. He hopes to ind success in the accounting Held. PHILIP JOSEPH FLORIO Phil 1540 Dixwell Avenue Philip entered Hamden from the Church Street School. He has been a member of the Trafiic Squad. He belonged to the Boys' Glee Club, the Photography Club, the Dramatics Club, and the Theater Guild. He is interested in bowling and automobile and motorcycle racing. Phil plans to work at air conditioning and refrigeration after graduation. VICTOR HARRY FORNI Vic 2209 State Street Vic attended State Street School. While in Hamden High he joined the Italian Club and acted as clerk for the school stockroom. His hobbies are swimming, skating, and football. Next year Vic plans to go to business school. IVIILDRED ELIZABETH FOWLER Betty 121 Cannon Street Mildred entered Hamden from the Sheridan Junior High School. She acted as assistant in both the library and the gym. Betty's hobbies are skating, swimming, photography, and home economics. IX! She plans to attend the School of Domestic Science in Boston. V QI ROBERT ALLEN PREDRICKSON H Bob 134 Wakefield Street Bob was graduated from Spring Glen School. In Hamden High he was an active member of the orchestra, the glee club, and string quartet. He also joined the Radio and Music Clubs for a year. Bob's interests center around music. In sports he enjoys hockey and soccer. His hobby is stamp and coin collecting.
