He has been home room president and a member of the Ways and Means Committee of the Student Council while at Hamden. He is interested in reading, skating. swimming. and in golf. Mario will enter the Junior College of Commerce in the fall, FLORENCE MARIE DELCORE Snooks 37 Ardmore Street Florence was graduated from Public School No. 37 of Queens, New York City, and then attended the Andrew Jackson High School of St. Albans, Long Island. She has been a member of the Basketball Club and the Tennis C-lub. Her interests include music. reading, and sports. Collecting travel folders is her hobby. Next year Florence plans to train in a hospital. e ELSIE DEL FRANCE HEI., 67 Burke Street Elsie entered Hamden from the Margaret L. Keefe School, In ember of the Glee Club the Hamden she has been an active m , Woodwork Club, and the Home Economics Club. She enjoys sports, skating, dancing, and is especially interested in travelling. Her plans for the coming year are undecided. ANDREW DE LORENZO Andy 13 Webb Street Andrew came to Hamden from the State Street and Centerville Schools. In Hamden he was a member of the football and basketball teams. He enjoys playing ping-pong. badminton, and sports in general. THERESA ANN D'AlVIBROSIO Tress 229 Butler Street Theresa attended the Bassett Junior High and Newh ll S 3 IIQCI School before coming to Hamden High, Her activities in high school have been tap dancing, the Thimble Club, and the Dramatics Club. Her hobbies are dancing, writing poetry, and bowling. Theresa's lan f p s or next year are incomplete. GLENN BURTON DANA Il-Burt!! 4 6 Gorham Avenue Glenn was graduated from the Helen Street School. In high school his activities have centered mainly on the band and orches- tra. He also has been a member of The Dial editorial board. Glenn is greatly interested in all types of sports. He plans to enter Yale University next fall. MARIE FAITH DAVIS Marie 69 Hawthorne Avenue Marie came to Hamden from Spring Glen School. In high school she has been a member of the Girls' Woodwork Club, the Tap Dancing Club, and has participated in intramural basketball and hockey. Dancing and skating are her favorite hobbies. Next year she may attend Larson Junior College. RAYMOND DAVIS ' Ray 3 0 Bagley Avenue Ray entered Hamden from the Church Street Grammar School. She enjoys swimming, skating, and dancing. Her hobby is collecting sport pictures. Shirlie plans to attend a business school upon being graduated. GARRET S. DITMARS Ridgeview Place, Cheshire Garret entered Hamden from Humiston School is Cheshire. In Hamden he has been a member of the tennis team, and has served on the editorial board of THE VENTURE.
