MAH IE ANN CERARD Sgfierf' Marie entered Hillhouse front the Putnam Avenue Grammar School. She was active in various organizations while at Hillhouse. among them he-ing the Bowling Team. the Clee Club and Chorus, and the Golf Cluh. During her freshman year she was secretary of the Cirls' Tri-Y. At llamden. she again joined the Chorus and Clee Cluhs. She also llecame a memher of the Puhlic Speaking Group. of the English Literature Cluh. and of the Business Board ol The Dial. Marie's hohlmy is reading. She plans to continue her education at a school of dental hygiene. JAMES HAROLD GEARY Gear lfrom Spring Clen Grammar School. James entered Commercial High School, where he was a member of the Art Club. At Hamden he was active in sports. heing a memher of hoth the Hockey Team and of Intramural Sports. AMDEN lp M IGH 1937 ANTHONY PETER GAGLIARDI Ucagv Anthony was graduated from Newhall Street School and from there he went to Hillhouse High. He joined the Cym Team during his first year and became the captain in his sophomore year. He ran on the Track Team as a freshman and also played freshman and sophomore baseball. He was also a member of the P. M. Football Team. ln his junior year at Hamden, he joined the ltalian Club. He was a member of the Varsity Basketball Team and played Varsity Baseball in his junior and senior years and Varsity Football in his fourth year. He was a member of the Leaders' and Bowling Clubs. His favorite hobby is sports. His rather ambitious plan for the future is to earn a million. FRANK CARMEN GACLIARDI ai ff Gigs f V Y-7 ' Frank was graduated from the Dixwell Avenue School, whence he entered Hillhouse. There be took part in the P. M. Soccer' Team and played baseball. At Hamden be has been a member of the Leaders' Club and of the Italian Club, of the Junior and Senior Volleyball Teams, of the Bowling Team, the .l.V. Basketball Team. and has taken part in Intramurals. His hobby is sports. He has chosen journalism as his career. ANDREW GAMBAHDELLO Camby,' Andrew was graduated from Church Street Grammar School, whence he entered New Haven High School. At Hillhouse he was a member of the P. M. Colf Team. His hobbies are golf and traveling. His plans for the future are as yet undecided. WALTER RAYMOND CARRETT AsRay91 cation in s q the otogr p ty, joining both the Photography and Motion Picture Clubs. He served on the Student Council, and the Traflic Squad, and was a member of the Slide Rule Club and the Microscopy Club. His hobby, as you can see, is photography, which he hopes to make his life work. Ray is an out-of-towner, having received his early Bloomfield, New Jersey.
