AMDEN 'ttf IGH 1937 HARVEY LEE CULGIN Tour Harvey attended the Putnam Avenue Grammar School and Hill- house before entering Hamden. His activities at Ilainden have in- cluded Shop Service and elertrieal work. Harvev's hobbies are golf, swimming, and boating. He is planning to attend Pratt Institute. BEATRICE COSENZA uBabe From Newhall Street School, Beatrice entered Hillhouse. ln her freshman and sophomore years there she served as an alternate on the Student Advisory Board. She was also a member of the New- comers' Club and the Swimming Club. At Hamden she was a member of the Girl Reserves, the Dress Designing Club, the Swimming Club. and the Social Dancing Group. She was also elected a member of the Business Board of The Dial. ller hobby is swimming. She hopes to take up dress designing after graduation from high school. When she came to llamden. Gertrude beeame a member of the Girls' Glee Club, and joined the Intramurals Group and the Girls' Tinkering Club. She intends to become a nurse. ller hobby is swimming. AMDEN IGH 1937 DAVID IRVINC CLARK Dave David was graduated from Davis Street School. At Commercial, he was a member of the Dramatics Club and of the Soccer Team. In Hamden he joined the Rifle Club. His hobbies are swimming and diving. He plans to enter business. PHYLLIS CLEIVIENTE I'ltyIIis was graduated from Centerville School. whence she entered Commercial High. While at Commercial, she took up basketball andi bowling and joined the Red Cross Club and the Biology Club. She also was a member of the Advertising Club. Alter entering Hamden. she joined the Commercial Service Club and continued her basket- ball. She was both bank assistant and library assistant. She plans to go into the business world. Her hobby is basketball. ROBERT WILLIAM COE ..B0b,, Bob was graduated from Union School in West Haven. Ile then entered Hillhouse. whence he came to Hamden. His activities in Hamden include: Varsity Basketball, Baseball, Track, the Leaders' Club, and Intramural Football. His hobby is all kinds of sports. He plans to enter the Y. M. C. A. College to study Accounting. TIIERESA MARIE COFRANCESCO 1 Terry . Terry attended Church Street School id im r ' High, entering Ilamden from the latter. She plans to enter Yale Art School. .IENNIE MARIE COLOSANTO ujeann Jennie was graduated from Newhall Street School and as a fresh- man entered Hillhouse. While there she became a member of the Newcomers' Club, the Biology Club, and the Hiking Club. In Ham- den, Jennie joined the Italian Club, and also became a library assistant. Her hobbies are hiking and driving a car. She hopes to study nursing. Page Twenty

In his junior year at Hamden he was a member of the Hi-Y and the Boat Club. He has also taken part in baseball and golf. .lack's hobbies are model boat construction and baseball. He has no delinite plans for the future. PAUL FRANCIS DAREN Goose Paul was graduated from the Mt. Carmel Grammar School and entered Hamden from the New Haven High School. At Hamden he was president of the Italian Club during his junior year. He took part in the presentation of the Italian play on Modern Language night last year. Paul's hobby is sports. He wants to be a traveling salesman. MARGARET RAE DAY Teen', Margaret was graduated from the Newhall Street School and attended the New Hlayen High School, where she belonged to the Newcomers' Club, and as active in sports, being a member of the Basketball Team and t Cincy Team, and took part in bowling and swimming. At Ha en she was a library assistant, a member of the Italian Club, and participated in Intramurals, fencing, basketball, and social dancing. Her hobbies are basketball and swimming. She intends to go to the Ryan School of Aeronautics. MARILYN DEANE DELICOURI X Lf' ssDelsa Marilyn was graduated from the Mt. Carmel Grammar School and attended Hillhouse, where she was a member of the Student Advisory Board, the Girls' Skating Club, and the Girls, Tennis Club. At Hamden she was a member of the orchestra and accompanist for both the Girls' Choir and the Mixed Glee Club, and was active in the French Club, the Creative Writing Club, and the English Litera- ture Club. Her hobby is writing poetry. She plans to attend the University of Rochester. WILLIAM JOSEPH DEMENNA acpeteas William was graduated from the Sheridan School, Bridgeport, Connecticut. He entered Central High School in Bridgeport, where he joined the Swimming Team.'He was also on the staff of the Criterion Republic, the high school newspaper. When William came to Hamden, he became an active member of the Varsity Baseball Team and was also prominent in Intramurals. Swimming is his favorite hobby. Pete intends to work after graduation.
