AMDEN IGH 1937 DAVID IRVINC CLARK Dave David was graduated from Davis Street School. At Commercial, he was a member of the Dramatics Club and of the Soccer Team. In Hamden he joined the Rifle Club. His hobbies are swimming and diving. He plans to enter business. PHYLLIS CLEIVIENTE I'ltyIIis was graduated from Centerville School. whence she entered Commercial High. While at Commercial, she took up basketball andi bowling and joined the Red Cross Club and the Biology Club. She also was a member of the Advertising Club. Alter entering Hamden. she joined the Commercial Service Club and continued her basket- ball. She was both bank assistant and library assistant. She plans to go into the business world. Her hobby is basketball. ROBERT WILLIAM COE ..B0b,, Bob was graduated from Union School in West Haven. Ile then entered Hillhouse. whence he came to Hamden. His activities in Hamden include: Varsity Basketball, Baseball, Track, the Leaders' Club, and Intramural Football. His hobby is all kinds of sports. He plans to enter the Y. M. C. A. While there she became a member of the Newcomers' Club, the Biology Club, and the Hiking Club. In Ham- den, Jennie joined the Italian Club, and also became a library assistant. At Hillhouse he took part in Happy Daysu. was a member of the Student Advisory Board, and both the P. M. and A. M. Track Teams. In Hamden he was a member of the Student Council, the Executive Council, the Boat Club. the Wrestling Team, and the Fencing Team. He has served on Tut-3 Vt-LNTURI-I Art Board and on the Senior Prom Committee. Incidentally, Lucien designed the school seal. Collecting ancient and modern firearms is his hobby. Lucien hopes to become a spinal specialist. ROSE CAVALIERI ssR0-a From Centerville School Rose entered Hillhouse. where shc was a member of the Basketball, Baseball, Tennis, Swimming. and Bowling Teams, and of the Biology Club. At Hamden her activities have been: Intramurals, Girl Reserves. the Social Dancing Club. and the Swimming Club. She was Assistant Business Manager of THE Vi5N1'unt:. Her hobby is sports. She plans to train for nursing at St. Francis Hospital. MARY HELEN CIIILINSKA S'fVIun.ya,' Mary entered Hillhouse from St. Stanislaus Parochial School. In llillhouse she was a member of the Newcomers' Club, the Hiking Club, and the Baseball Team. She was treasurer of the Biology Club. ln Hamden she joined the Italian Club and was soon made president. Mary was also active in Social Dancing and in Intra- murals. Her hobby is hiking. She hopes to become a nurse. llcr classmates will remember her in the role of Lady Macbeth. ALICE MANY CHARMAN HAZ., After being graduated from Newhall Street Crammar School, Alice entered Commercial High School. At Hamden, Alice has been a member of the Commercial Service Club, a member of thc Chorus and Clee Clubs, a member of the Social Dancing Groups, and has taken up Intramurals. His activities at Ilainden have in- cluded Shop Service and elertrieal work. Harvev's hobbies are golf, swimming, and boating. He is planning to attend Pratt Institute. BEATRICE COSENZA uBabe From Newhall Street School, Beatrice entered Hillhouse. ln her freshman and sophomore years there she served as an alternate on the Student Advisory Board. She was also a member of the New- comers' Club and the Swimming Club. At Hamden she was a member of the Girl Reserves, the Dress Designing Club, the Swimming Club. and the Social Dancing Group.
