GEOMETRY M-r. Hickman Instructor Mathematics and Life We live in an orderly universe. Our lives and everything with which we come in contact is governed by definite laws limiting our actions in all directions. Our modern way of life could not exist without these laws making it possible for us to live together and to do our work. The science of Mathematics has been developed by man as a tool to enable him to carry on the complex operations of his business and society and to explain the workings of the laws of his universe. The study of Mathematics is considered so important that all schools have required work in the various subjects of the field.
