JUNIOR BANQUET Cheers and Jeers The oft-criticized class of '85 has at least one undeniable asset- its un- canny ability to have a great time. Any doubt of this asset was obliterated by the extremely successful format and up- beat atmosphere ofthe Junior Banquet. The banquet proved to be a superb tes- timonial to the unmatched unity of the class of 1985, as everyone in atten- dance had a great time mingling with their fellow juniors, and remembering their pre-senior year with the help of a stirring slide show organized by Lori Szczesniak. The banquet itself was merely a side dish. The real meal con- sisted of laughter, cheers and memories and everyone had plenty of all three. The awards ceremony produced both applause and ieers as awards present- ed ranged from the sexiest walk four own illustrious Steve Doll walked off with this awardj to the cutest couple fJim Kolb and Molly Palisanoj. The awards were given out by Matt Adler and Matt Lanfear along with the always spirited Becky Pearl. This trio of presenters was very effective in moving the ceremonies along without rushing. lvlusical inspiration was provided by the talented singing threesome of Barb Wydysh, Marcy Young and Jennifer Streamer. They sang Family , an ex- tremely appropriate choice for the night. ln short, anyone who didn't smile or laugh at one time or another during the festivities needs an attitude overhaul.
