This fall school spirit was lifted at Pep Day and Homecoming. Pep Day had tra- ditional events such as the decathlon and tug-of-war, and some new ones, such as the messy pudding-eating con- test. Everyone was enlivened in prepara- tion for Homecoming Weekend. Although the weather was cool and the Varsity Bulldogs lost their game with Kenmore West, spirits were not daunt- ed. Excitement filled the air as the floats paraded by the stands where the judges chose the best floats and the Home- coming Queen, Chris Ftusso, was crowned. Work began last winter for the thir- I I.. 26!Echoes teenth annual musical, Music Man . All cast members gave long hours for re- hearsals and braved snowy conditions to return to school for practice knowing that homework was waiting for them when they returned home. Music Man was a hit and the cast and crew gave a polished performance. We gathered together in the spring for the Junior Banquet and Prom. The Ban- quet was the first time the majority of the class of 1985 met after school and it was a success. The Junior Prom was equally as successfulg many couples danced the night away in the romantically deco- rated room. lt was a perfect finale for the juniors who had a very exciting year.
