Their patience attests to their concem. 17 Faculty Mrs. Nancy Berggren Social Studies Ms. Marcia Bachman Library Mrs. Dorothy Arnold Art Mrs, Blanche Buono English Mr. Michael Bermingham Social Studies Mrs. Elizabeth Bollinger English 19 if Y' PM Z2 1 f .M P X k . Free of the wicked witch, the Land of Oz was even more breathtaking. Who would have thought that the land over the rainbow could have become a reality? The month of May produced many sur- prises and will be remembered by all who traveled to the Land of Oz. X5 I lv' Junior Play Into the Land of Oz Dorothy's house fell. Thump, and dirt wentflying. What a way to enter Munchkinland. Wait, here comes the good witch. Maybe she can help Dorothy find a date for the Junior Prom. Follow the yellow brick road? Yes, that is what she had said. To Oz, whose powers are dynamic. It was a magical time, full of the ex- citement of spring. 117 ., ...q,. .,, ,, ,L ,..,,,..f , 1 f X ,f N A .1 Fi if hav, fi ' ww f 'il - 1 'f I ff, ir. f,,' W W MQW Q W' Dance Your Heart Out .xx , ml ii. i fa gi ,,,,,--o--4 Senior Play An over-abundance of school apathy, some very over-protective parents, a chauvinistic security officer, a very determined female disc- jockey, disco dancing, an all-night charity dance marathon. What's it all about? Why, Dance Your Heart Out , of course. With the help of director Mr. Michael Ber- mingham, not only were these imagineiy con- flicts resolved within the play, but also a new sense of unity was instilled amongst everyone involved with the production. 119 '-x Musical When you see a guy, Reach for stars in the sky, You can bet that he's doing it for some doll. And you can bet that the H.H.S. Music Department exceeded their reach by performing an exciting show. Following a long tradition of highly successful musicals, Guys and Dolls was just one more example of the kind of talent displayed by both the students and direc- tors Gerald Forys and Mrs. Katherine Fiero. We also recognize Mame as another tremendous success. 121 K f N Beyond what was I'm something new, by running fast I've Ieamed to fly. Fortunate- ly, several students had this opportunity last spring when three trips were taken separately to Mexico, France and Germany. For some, it was an entirely new feeling to responsibility, for others revelled in adventure and exploration. But on the whole, it was an enriching, invaluable experience that could easily be summed up as a break- through in classroom barriers. French Club Salut mes amislu They say French is a Romance language, but this does not include adventure and good times as most members will agree. Not only is the French club the largest language organization but, under the exuberant leadership of Mlle. Samuelson, these students have been able to savor a bit of french culture.
