Although this is what was taught in this class, students also gained knowledge and experience which enabled them to have a head start after graduation. Automechanics was not the only class that gave experience to students. There were also autobody, woodshop, and metal shop and drafting classes. Classroom not arcade Many math courses available What do you call the study of quantities and relation through the use of numbers and symbols? Mathematics A Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Computer Math, Fundamentals of Math, and Consumer Math, all these and a few more. From simple math to advanced math, students had a wide variety of math classes to choose from, including the newest class, Computer Math, taught by Mrs. Charlotte Masters. Although the games at the arcade are regarded as computers, there is a great deal of difference. I took the class because I thought it would get me an easy 'A',ll senior Jim- my Fernandez, a student from Mrs. Masters' first period class, said. Another student, from Mrs. Alline Paynes' Algebra class, Kim Stevens, sophomore, has a good reason for not doing her homework, My mom hasn't learned the new math yet.
