. . . and then there will be peace AFS is not only the club which brings a foreign exchange student to Haltom each year, but also a club which works for peace and understanding. Club president Joy Sana Ward was selected to be an Americans Abroad student. AFS sponsored an annual AFS as- sembly in which Elisabeth Polak, the 1972-73 Foreign Exchange student, was introduced. The club also sold friendship bonds most of the year. Club members are: BOTTOM ROW: Joysana Ward, Leann Oilman, Audrey Peery, Diane Brown, Karen Esposito, and Mrs. Dorothy Van Hooser. Since hair is an intricate part of a human being, the care and condition of it is important. The mechanics of styling hair are learned in Cosmetology. Cosmetology not only provides students with an ability but a skill which wUl become profit- able in later years.
