THIRD ROW, LEFT TO RIGHT: Duane Steele, Errol Becker, Mike McCusker, Larry Abston, Jeff Roper, Dean Carpenter, Dick Wright, The track squad of '59 was composed of twenty members. We competed in several small and large meets, but didn't score many points. The best individual performance of the season was that of Mike Wardlaw, when he fin- ished fifth in the low hurdles at the Emporia Relays. Mike McCusker was elected captain for the year. He was the only man on the squad who competed in the regional meet, get- ting sixth in the mile run. Though this was a dismal year in track, the future looks much brighter as the vast majority of the squad will be returning. l F5 CL , L 'l 1 ' ' I ' 1 Sprint Men Larry Abston VICTORY LOCKER SERVICE FOOD BOWL
