Cheering our team on to MKL, and state championships were the Dragonettes, sponsored by Miss fix Vena Wright. Besides helping with homecoming activities, the Dragonettes held numerous pre-game bonfire rallies will followed by parades and cheering downtown, sponsored pep assemblies and sold car tags. There were thirty-five girls in pep club.
