is-rii' .fslgkzk it 1 Readin 8 Nook Checking Desk Librarians The Librarians are some of the unpraised Workers who help to keep the wheels of school running smoothly. Their job consists of checking books in and out, keeping things in order, and library quiet at all times. The librarians for the '51 -'52 year, under the direction of Miss Nelligan were Phil Jacka, first hourg Bill McDowell, second hourg Evelyn Hoffer, third hourg Dorothy Janzen, fourth hourg Mildred Talbott, fifth hourg Beth Wiebe, first semester sixth hourg Louise Rodenberg, second semester, sixth hourg and Jack Salisbury, activity period. Beth Wiebe served as library chairman during the first semester, and Phil Jacka was library chairman the second semester. During the year the library had charge of one assembly program. The Receptionists are assistants to Miss Jewett and Mr. Shenk. They handle many simple jobs around the office which involve a great deal of time and effort. They receive visitors wishing to see Mr. Shenk, tally the lunch tickets, gather absentee slips, and run many miscellaneous errands.
