Through their hard work and determination at their regular meetings, held on alternate Wednesdays, and their outside work, they achieved the highest accomplishment a club can receive--a gold seal. The club has received this award for ten previous years. The Y-Teens are under the leadership of Miss Nelligan and Mrs. Geist. The Y-Teens have contributed much to society and to their school in the way of spiritual and social leadership, moneymaking projects, society, recreation, and charity. During the past year their activities included: A girl-date-girl party, a Y-Teen Cabinet picnic at the Harvey Co. Park, an annual Christmas part , a Hi-Y Teens picnic, working in the concession stands at football and basketball, games, a Father-Daughter banquet, Y-Teen Fall Conference, annual church service at the Presbyterian Church, and the iving of Christmas baskets for town members. ln their re ular meetings tie club had pro rams of different natures which they thought would ielp in the betterment of the clui and the members. Their programs included films, talent shows, musical programs, and character betterment programs. It is composed of four officers and a representative from each of the four classes, Y-Teens, Hi-Y, Dragonettes, librarians, and the music and athletic departments. Activities sponsored include the annual Homecoming celebration, which was held this year the 19th of October, and the spring election, which elected Student Council officers and cheerleaders. They also solicited the town for Red Cross Bloodmobile, managed the coke machine, and put up the Christmas lights and decorations which included the tree in the lower hall, and cardboard figures above the entrance door. Compliments of AL'S REPAIR SHOP and CONNER'S GIFT and SUNDRIES Coke machine project of the Student Council.
