In speech he always gets by, for he just loves those books. LIONEL GILBERTSON Lionel likes the farm real well, on weekends that's where you find him As a farmer he'll be swell, and blue ribbons he will always win. SHIRLEY BERVIG Shirley likes school real well, and really gets things done. As a nurse she'll do swell, and yet never miss the fun. GERALD HESBY Now, Gerald is quite a guy, and Sharon is the one for him. In sports he'1l get by, for it satisfies his every whim. GENE BREKKE Our Nlelsville pal is Gene, though he oftens thinks Halstad best. In ag. he is really keen, for he usually passes the test. AUDREY HETTERVIG Audrey is our North Dakota gal from right across the river way. She is everybody's pal, and in our hearts she has a say. KAREN ERICKBON Karen, the president of the group, really keeps us in line. In debate she knows the scoop, and always does just fine. ALDEN HOLTE Alden thinks Mercurys are best, as for girls, Janice is the one. In basketball he passes the test, for in sports he sure has fun. JANICE JOHNSON Jan, who thinks Moorhead tops, is always full of pep. When it comes to dancing she never stops with all her vigor and zep. RONALD LEE Ronald our tall, handsome lad, girls say he's not bad. And for plans the navy is for him, Cause over seas he likes to skim. Jeanette-- now she's quite a girl, she says the shorter men are for he . At Homecoming she was our pearl, dressed up in lace and fur. JEANETTE JOHNSON 1' RUTH LERVOLD Ruth is taking a comm. course you see and a great stenographer she'l1 . She has style and good looks too, She does what she sets out to do. JOANNE KNUTSON Joanne is rather quiet and shy but in sewing she really does fly. She comes from Nielsville too, so coming to school here is quite new. JOHN MELTING John's eyes spell mischief, His smile spells 'Hi', We all like him, He's one swell guy. MARLENE LATTA Marlene, our cute Texas girl, is everybody's pal, She's not too tall, not too small, She's a gal that's liked by all. EUHICE MICKELSON Eunice the editor of this book is called NMicki' by us all. , She plans to be a Phy. Ed. teacher, for she just loves to play basketball. GAYLIS NELSON Gaylis a pal to everyone, is just as good as gold. Gay sure likes to have fun, and is also daring and bold. SHARON OLSON Sharon, our sparkling green eyed blonde of whom we are all very fond, is always ready for a good time, and at a dance she's always in line. VERNON NELSON Vernon from Good Hope, never sits around to mope. He says nworry little, study less, that's my idea of happinessn. DARLENE ORVIK I'm Darlene, the youngest in the class and as I look back, at the years passed, I think of all the fun I've had, and to the future I am led. CORINNE OIEN Corinne is quiet as can be, at least she seems like that to me. But she has a most pleasant way, which she puts to use every day. ROSE MARIE SMITH Rosie, it seems to me, surely has a winning smile. Now Rosie is as cute as she can be, and in our hearts she'll stay awhile. JANIS OLSON Now Janis is full of fun and mischief too, likes doing things she shouldn't do. She's a friend that brightens up the way, with her big blue eyes shining every day. GLORIA STENE G1oria's our lunchroom pal, and really makes a good gal. She's headed out Interstate way, 'cause she wants a job with lots of pay. DICK STENERSON Dick, our cute, blonde guy, is really not too shy. He say's nChase me gals I'm full of fun, if you want a date I'm the one.n JANICE STIGEN Janice, our Caledonia lass, when it comes to music she likes jazz. In a few years a stewardess we'll see, for that's just.what she plansito be. SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the seniors of H.H.S., being the 50th class graduate, do will the following: To the teachers - We give our Monday-morning dispositions and all our enthusiasm. To the juniors - We give our wit, our charm, and our receptive attitude toward all forms of learning.
