To Tne Students of Hallettsville High School The material rewards for accomplishments in school are not too numerous Only a few students may actually obtain such an award However, one's purpose in goinv to school is not to reap any material gains or rewards, but to store knowledge in the mind for future use The greatest reward one may gain from attending school is that of self satisfaction in knowing that the Job has been well done Some students reap more benefit than others because more effort has been exerted Some students gain more satisfaction because severe handicaps have to be overcome The reward is up to the individual The Annual Staff is to be congratulated on this issue of The Brahma, because many problems had to be solved and obstacles beyond their control had to be over come Theirs i a deep satisfaction in that they have done a bood job p We are all gr teful to The Brahma Staff for pre- serving this school life for us ff'- Most sincerely,
