One of the most potent factors in the realization of happiness is the memories of pleasant, by-gone days, A high school annual is an instrument that assists in recalling these days. In later years as we scan its pages we have a tendency to for get all the sordid, unpleasant things of school life and remember only the delightful incidents I am sure the senior Class, the Sponsors, and the staff had this in mind in the creation of this 1944-45 annual May it serve this purpose well Congratulations to all who have had any part in making it possible HJARD OF TRUSTEES STANDING Louis Allen, Theo Golsch, Ow en Brown SITTING Erwin Bucek, Dr C T Dufher, Edwin Timm, Pete Liberda N - R I , gl , a ' was f'l I1 W il Q' W fuk 3 MR M B ENG AND PRINCIPAL Senlor Co Sponsor MRS ANNETTE COTTINGAME HOMEMAKING SBHIOF Co Sponsor MISS MARJORIE JANACEK SCIENCE Junuor SponSOY MRS VIVIAN COOPER ENGLISH Sophomore Sponsor MISS ELSIE LINDIG ENG A HISTORY Freshman Sponsor M J E TH TYRING 8 HISTORY MR W H MC CU LAR GARD A GLEE CLUB MRS HOPE FINKELSTEIN EIGHTH GRADE MRS VAUGHN SMOTHERS SEVENTH GRADE MISS ANNIE STRAUSS SIXTH GRADE MISS HILDEGARDE HEYER FOURTH GRADE MRS EVELYN WIED THIRD GRADE MISS VERA WESTERMANN SECOND GRADE MISS ALVA TIMM FIRST GRADE YE?
