B Homecoming activities rev up students Dominy-Piacenti reign over festivities Exciremenr lurked on rhe campus os Homecoming week gor under way. Each day hod o special rheme — sunglasses, T-shirr, and har doy; opposite sex dress-up doy; rogo day, and spirit filled red ond-whire day. Student races in rhe stadium one day were followed by rhe Homecoming parade and community pep rally rhe next day Tim Dominy and Annette Piocenri reigned over Homecoming os king and queen, with Julie Homer and Adine Becker first and second runners-up. A bonfire, rhe first in many years, concluded rhe night. Friday was rhe doy of rhe big gome! School was adorned with red and white streamers, and rhe doy ended with on inspirational si-sir performed by rhe faculty Thor evening, alumni and fans cheered rhe ream for o victory Unfortunately, rhe Bock Falls Pockets blasted off, leaving rhe Devils behind 27-0. Though spirits sank or rhe loss, rhe magic of the week was revived os students bopped to rhe music of Blaze'' or rhe Homecoming donee Saturday night. The floor was filled with couples os girls rested their heads on their dare's shoulders, swaying to the slow music. Another memorable Homecoming hod passed.
