Since the founding of the school in 1914, the program of instruction and service at Hall has attained new dimensions of breadth and depth. The school has grown to its present size of 525 students, the highest in its history, and the curriculum and physical plant demanded. Progress has especially characterized the past decade. The growing population and the obsolescence of the original buildings saw a new addition and the renovation of the old, which have given the students and faculty of Hall a modern, well-equipped school in which to work and learn. The advent of “Sputnik in the late 1950’s, which saw a change in teaching methods across the country, has produced changes at Hall also with the introduction of the “new math” and new techniques in science. Continued progress is essential to meet the countless challenges of the future. Hall will not anchor in the safety of past accomplishments, but will continue to foster an atmosphere in which learning might best occur and will move toward even greater achievements.
