We began the year with a school dance October 24. On Back-To-School Night, we served as guides for the parents In October, we collected 314,547 .64 for the Magazine Drive. During National Education Week, the council voted to buy flowers for the teachers. We collected money for the United Fund Campaign and on January 10, our school was awarded a plaque for the huge canned food drive that we held. Special days were held throughout the year: Slave Day, Date Day, Crazy Hat and Socks Day, and Dress-up Day. The Student Council ended the year with a dance. Student Council Representatives Student Council Sponsors: Ms. Norma Elgan, Student Council Alternates Mrs. Helen O'Connor, and Mr. Gary O'Shay. Mr. Don Gray was the advisor. QQ pg U
