Kickin the Habit The 1985 varsity football season spelled letdowns and triumphs. Coach jim Elam said that the squad felt at the beginning of the season that they would be one of the teams to beat. However, he added that there was Hinexperience in key positions, and it would take a while for them to get used to these positionsf' The first half of' the season did not go as well as the Vikes would have liked.
