Payoff in the Playoffs Success dominated the spring sports scene as the softball and baseball teams advanced to the Dis- trict 2 championship games. Both teams led in their quests for tickets to the state title gamesg however, late-inning runs by their opponents spoiled the seasons' ends. Kickin the Habit The 1985 varsity football season spelled letdowns and triumphs. Coach jim Elam said that the squad felt at the beginning of the season that they would be one of the teams to beat.
