O HIDDE ECRET Frequently, discussions center around the advantages and dis- advantages of private and public education. To determine the views of those persons who may know best, the Yearbook Staff polled the faculty to determine what best explains why they teach in a private school. Of ten items their five most popular explanations follow. Significantly, only one vote placed the first item in its positiong otherwise, the five items would have been of equal popularity. 1. Parents are interested and supportive, and sometimes critical C69'Z1J. 2. Student interest and desire to learn are higher than in public schools 463721. 3. There is a lack of red tape and excessive paper work C63'ZpJ. 4. Students and teachers have the opportunity to know one another personally f63ZJ. 5.
