6' fi M 1 I! Read all about it. From September 27 through October 3, a book fair was sponsored by the fifth grade for students in grades K-7. The book fair, held in the school cafeteria, turned a profit of 2152873 this money was put toward classroom purchases. A huge assortment of books along with posters, calen- dars, tapes, and a variety of other items were available. The whole experience was fun for the children, and it also motivated them to read more for pleasure and to develop skills, stressed Ms. Harlow, chairperson of the event. October 24, 1985, was an ex- citing and eventful day for the kindergarten through third grades when they paid a visit to the farm. The visit included a tour that gave the children an opportunity to see farm equipment and animals. For one dollar, each child picked out any pumpkin he wanted and could carry.
