DO 'T YOU HATE IT WHE . . .you forget to set your clock back for the time change and you arrive Et school with the gates still locked ecause youlre an hour early? . . the style is to wear your shirt- ail out, but the school rules aren't n style? . . you back up and realize you've ust hit your English teacherls new 00 ZX? .. your computer program oesn't work? . . someone gets a 99 on a test and omplains? .. you walk down the hall with oilet paper stuck to the bottom of our shoe? . . you and your boyfriend break p a week before the prom? . . you have an annual deadline to eet, an L.P. to turn in, basketball ractice, plus regular homework ll in the same week? . .it's your third tardy and you get ut in detention hall? . . you go to the barber and he efers you to a landscape architect? . . you dream you ate the worldls rgest marshmallowg and when ou wake up, your pillow is mis- ing? . .you get behind a group of Hell's ngels and your horn gets stuck? . . you've done every problem of homework but the one the calls on you to answer? a teacher says, Get out a sheet looseleaf notebook paper ? . . . you get in the lunchroom five minutes before the seniors and you still have to wait? . . .you hear the I phone ringing . . . you wake up one morning and realize and rush to get that your last year of high school is suddenly it and then it stops ringing? . . . you rush to get your writing folder finished doesn't take it up? . . . a teacher checks the roll before the tardy bell rings? . . . you can't decide whether you want Coke or Pepsi, much less what college you want to attend? . . . you go to the dentist and he continually asks you questions while he has both hands in your mouth? . . . the coach says, BASELINE ? . . . you decide to have a small party and half of Roanoke Rapids shows up? . . . your parents read everything that your friends have written in your VOYAGER and you get grounded for all the things you didn't tell them you did? . . . everything that happens is your last everything that will EVER hap- pen because you're a senior? and Mr. Nelson slipping away before your eyes?
