Spring brought energy and Field Day was GETTING THINGS With the arrival of spring, students began preparation for Field Day. Highlights of the events were Tommy Wright's victory in the 100-yard dash and Andy Hale's and Walt Burgwynls demonstra- tion in the egg toss. With the after- noon approaching an end, the standings showed that the last event would decide the champion. The Class of '85 regrouped and took the victory, and the Class of '86 finished second. Living out your dream fantasy on Saturday night is hotg living it with Mr. Rourke is not. Driving your new car to school is hotg having your hubcaps stolen is not. Making two points is hotg making them for the other team is not. Graduating is hotg leaving all your friends is not. Alpine car stereos are hotg G.E.,s are not. Going to the beach at Easter is hotg the temperature being ten below is not. Playing basketball is hotg going to practice is not. Having the prettiest dress at the prom is hotg having the ugliest date is not. Being a member of more than one club is hotg having to do things for all of them at the same time is not.
