Powdered players pur u dth pigskin The 1985 Powder Puff Football Game sparkled with success and was a spring highlight. Grades 7, 9, and Il teamed to form the Green team while grades 8, IO, and 12 comprised the White team. The contest turned friends into archri- vals as the game turned out to be a defensive struggle. The game's only score came late in the third quarter when the Green team's quarterback Martha Wilson con- nected with receiver jill Dickens for a long touchdown completion. Halftime brought the crowning of the Powder Puff king.
