ot ju ta gy , but a dreamland Although the 1985 junior- Senior Prom started slowly, by the night of April 26, the gym had turned into a dreamland that no one would forget. From a stairway to heaven, a dream castle, a drifting dreams balloon, to a balloon fountain filled with goldfish, the decorative atmosphere could not have related the theme On the Edge of a Dream more perfectly. The work on the gym began April 19 with few people helping construct the walls, in fact, most iiltlftfwl C' days and nights of preparation saw less than half the class present to work. However, when the work was completed, everyone had con- tributed in some way whether it was by coloring a wall, stapling paper, Stringing angel hair, or inflating balloons. Pam Shearin recalled, I didn't think I'd ever finish that gigantic teddy bear, and I really got worried when we ran out of paper and had to use toilet tissue. Ccontinued on page 983 DURING THE EARLY PART OF THE WEEK OF DECORATING, Mark Brett and Roger jenkins prepare a space age mural while Kevin Smith observes.
