The team ended with a 4-2 conference record and took runner-up honors. At one point in the season, Halifax sported a five-game winning streak. Coach Marvin Lassiter employed good-conditioning, knowledge of fundamentals, and well-learned plays. In his three-year history, he compiled an 18-10 record, and carried his team to the State Play-offs. A fine pair of co-captains, Mike McGreevy and Don Spragins helped build the team's morale and spirit.
