MELINDA SNETIKER B.S., M.A.g Future I-Iomemakers of America Music Music, a basic to all cultures, supplies an important element in our school, Our Marching Band plays for the football games as well as for our enjoyment. For those with various tastes, there is Symphonic Band, the orchestra, Concert Band, and the jazz Emsemble. Also, there is Music Composition, a course for those interested in the lyric art form. Miss Soranno, Miss Lewandowski, and Mr. Malzone co-ordinate the Dixettes and the Marching Band for half-time activities. Cooking and sewing are not the only components of Home Economics, although Home the age-old belief is such. The major concern . of the department is to prepare all students, ECOn0m1CS including males, for living. The numerous elective courses are designed with these results in mind.

Art The creativity of an individual depends on how imaginative the person is. It is possible to expand the mind's eye through paint, plaster, metal, yarn, fabric, pen and ink, pencil and charcoal. Art, like most courses, is a learning experience, but because it is a value that can be tended and watered, it can bloom and grow to become a part of you that lasts the rest of your life.
