Il TH SCIENCE CLUB The purpose of the Science Club is to provide an opportunity for those students who are of a scientific frame of mind to experiment individually and develop their scientific laboratory techniques. The activities of the club are limited to labor- atory experiment. i SECRETARIAL PRACTICE CLUB This is an organization of young people in commercial work, who desire to receive some training in secretarial practice. The members answer the office telephone, file, type, and post. The club is given the responsibility of most of the ditto and mimeograph work of the various activities, includ- ing the typing of copy for the Haldane Flash. The sponsor is Mr. Pipitone.

H A L D A N E C E N T R A L F L A S H The staff of the Haldane Central Flash has published fifteen issues of the paper in the last year. This year's paper was a bigger and, we hope, a better paper than the Weekly of last year. Our aim is always to give the best in news News is collected, written, and edited by the journalism staff under Miss Starr. Material is typed, advertisements solicited, and papers sold by the business staff sponsored by Mr. Pipitone. The staff is headed by Elizabeth Constantine, Editor-in-Chiefs Elizabeth Mancari, Literary Editor: Emily Ferreri, Assistant Editorg and Charles Peparo, Sports Editor. T H E C I V I C S C L U B President - Edward Kancari Vice-President - Dorothy Harrington Secretary - Helen Warren Treasurer - Shirley Christian ' Sponsor - Mrs. Gelligan The Civics Club made their usual trip to Washington on Monday, April 10. They were accompanied by Urs. Galligan, sponsor of the club. The Hotel Lafayette was the headquarters of the group for their four days' visit to the nation's capital.
