Aside Frenchman Vai-iei, Tournament from experiencing some difficulty on larger Haigiei 34 inineiiai floors and a few costly mistakes, the Eagle District Toninainent team was very respectable, The team had Haigiei 51 Cnibenson some height in Bill McVey at 6'1 and Elmer Day at 6' and Royce Stute and Duane Wall just under six foot. Alfred Zuege, Eddie Neville, LeRoy Stute, Mick Schorzrnan, and ball handling. The squad took part in two Marvin Sims, and Stan Walker made up their shorter stature by speed conference tournaments and the District Tournament. While taking defeats this year in basketball, the Eagles dupli- cated football when they went undefeated in out-of-state play.

TRACK--STANDING: Mick Schorzman, Royce Stute, Elmer Day, Bill McVey, Duane Wall, Ed Neville, SITTING: Coach Snell, Stan Walker, LeRoy Stute, Alfred Zuege, Marvin Sims, Dick Bentley. With the return of several top performers from the 1962 track team the Eagles' track outlook appears bright, The squad should have responsive performers in all events. Duane Wall traveled to State in the mile last spring with a final state timing of 4:54. Alfred Zuege came along fine in late season with a 53.3 quarter in the district. After limited work in the 440, Royce Stute with throws of nearly 46' in the shot and Elmer Day with throws of 135' in the discus, complete a promising senior group. Underclassmen are expected to provide considerable backing. Bill McVey performs in the hurdles and jumps: and LeRoy Stute and Eddie Neville inthe distances.
