We picnicked in August, donned costumes in October, played pinochle one Las Vegas Night in November, gathered ' round the Christmas tree in December, danced at the Snowball in February, and honored the little sisters at a capping party in April. Students were encouraged to attend SNAP meetings. Representatives returned from the State and Mock conventions eager to share their experiences. Spirited by our student government all delighted in the fun-filled programs planned for off-duty hours. 54 Yearbook SEATED, left to right: S. Brunner, G. Finley, G. Marzolf, J. Taylor, G. Adams. STANDING: C. Porach, L. Callowav, P. Kelley. E. Baute, C. Toth, P. Wilson, P. Roth, W. Smith. Any yearbook involves much work both in its planning and composing but ' ' many hands make light work and work became fun as we prepared this annual. Especially to be remembered is the day when our co-editors, Joyce Taylor and Grace Marzolf. led the photographer and their willing assistants on a merry chase through the hospital, taking pictures wherever they went. Not so easily seen, of course, but equally important were the efforts of the Literary- Staff, headed by Gay Adams, and the Business Staff, under the direction of Sue Brunner. The final task of planning the layouts for the yearbook was in charge of Gladys Finley. Planning, plotting, and putting together were all made easier with the help and cooperation of all the staff. 55 Service Club FIRST ROW, left to right: M. Angerman, R. Pologruto, B. Gochenauer, M. Sponsored by the Service Club, we all joined together in a Thanksgiving project to provide a turkey, cranberry sauce, and all the trimmings necessary to mak e this holiday a happy one for a needy Phila- delphia family. April arrived and with it the joy of Easter. How three little pair of eyes must have brightened as they gazed at Easter baskets, filled with goodies, provided by the student body! 56 Chorus . Added to prac- tice was the talent of the entire Freshman class and ivhen they sang I Hear A Song and It ' s A Grand Night For Singing both talent and practice contributed to the beauty of their presentation. Members of each class joined in the practices as their schedules permitted, but only the Class of ' 63 sang at their Capping Ceremony.
