dedication We, the members of the graduating class of 1955 wish to take this opportunity to dedicate to you this book, and to express publicly our profound gratitude and deep ap- preciation. To convey to you — here in this small space — the per- sonal appreciation of each member of the class, would be impossible; for you were so much more than a director. You have been the bulwark of our class, the silent and unheralded influence behind our success. And so we say, Thank you, Miss Cunningham, for: the wise counseling that has been so valuable to us; the reprimanding which we know was necessary; supporting our activities wholeheartedly; your interest not only in the class as a whole, but also in each individual member; the encouragement you gave us as our road grew difficult; the boundless patience and understanding, of which only you are capable; carrying the burden of our worries; and, above all, for being such a wonderful person in so many wonderful ways.
