Principal’s Message To the Seniors of 1963: Soon you will graduate and receive a diploma certifying that you have completed the requirements for graduationas set forth by the educational authorities of the State and County. This diploma will open many doors for you, but what happens after this will be up to the individual. He will enter a world of constant change in which success will de- pend on the ability to adapt to the situations of life. Your education has not been com- pleted; it is just beginning. PRICE TURNER Teacher of Agriculture. Shop, and is the sponsor of F.F.A. He has guided and in- structed the boys on subjects ranging from farm machinery to power equipment. MRS. RUBY KING Even though this is her first year, she has won the respect of all the students. She requires you to obey the rules that are es- tablished for the library. MRS. REGINA SHARP The senior sponsor and teacher of history is loved and respected by all students She has been a teacher, counselor, and helper to anyone who asked her. MR. DEWEY T. ASHBY Latin, Spanish, English. American History, and Civics. He has been at Hahira for the past two terms. He amuses his classes and requires them to put forth their best effort. MISS MARY SUE PAGE Straight out of college came Miss Page, yet she has inspired many of her students by her demanding, but helpful methods of teach- ing. She teaches typing, bookkeeping, and shorthand. COACH I. J. ROBERSON This being Mr. Roberson’s first year here he has won the confidence of many of the stu- dents. He teaches algebra, trigonometry, and physical education. In all his subjects he required you to study, but he will be there to help you at any time. COACH MACK MANLEY Teaches American history, general math, and coaches the boys' basketball team. This is his first year but he has been accepted by the student body because he has been a friend to all. MRS. CORINNE COLEMAN She teaches English and journalism. She is the sponsor for the Arihah staff and the Annual staff. Also she directed the district one-act play. She is loved by all her stu- dents and is an exceedingly interesting teacher. MR. ORVIS McNEAL Teaches chemistry, physics, physical science, and algebra. He is regarded as an excellent teacher by the students that have subjects under him. He is also the assistant principal. MRS. ANNE MCDONALD She guides and instructs the girls in every- day activities that they will do all their life. She is also the sponsor of the F.H.A. MR. SEAB MILLER He helps with all the problems of the stu- dents that need him. He is available at all times with information that might be of use in your future. COACH WARREN ALEXANDER He teaches biology, science, and coaches the football boys and the basketball girls. He is liked by all those who know him and is accepted by all. PRISCILLA LEHMAN, winy and friendly, bloomed late; as a sophomore she was in no clubs, in her senior year she was an active member in six of die nine. With two study halls, she was an indispensable cog in the publication of the Arihah. SENA KUTZU, as editor, offi- cer. head majorette, and beauty contestant, Sena has lent her leadership abilities and enthusiastic support to many organizations.
