Bwtnrg nf the Gllaaa nf EH COLORS FLOWER Blue and Buff Snapdragon OFFICERS Presrdent GLENN HALL Vwe Presrdent EDWIN HEARD Secretary ISABEL FRIDINGER Treasurer HENRY CHAPMAN Four years ago, although It seems as 1f 1tWel'6 only yesterday, our class entered Hlgh School As Freshmen, we were separated, the glrls bemg ln one school the boys belng 1n another However thls d1d not prevent us from holdmg our first class functlon, the Freshmen PICDIC 1n June Th1s led to many acquamtances whlch we have enloyed throughout our Hlgh School career In the fall of 1926, we agam assembled for our Sophomore year Th1s tlme however, We were unlted ln one body as the new Hagerstown H1gh School had been completed ln the mck of tlme for occupancy In January of thls term, We elected our first class officers and transacted our first busmess as a class At thls meetmg our class colors were declded to be Blue and Buff and our class flower to be the sraapdragon On Aprxl 1 we held our first class party whlch was a very successful a axr The autumn of 1927 we returned to our class rooms to assume once more the drudgery of educatlon Durmg th1s year our members were very actlve 1n scholas t1c functlons We were not too busy though to have our class dance wh1ch was a novel Leap Year Dance After th1s glorlous affalr, we set to work to gxve the Semors a real prom Whether thxs was a success or not can be saxd only by the semors, although secretly we thlllk they enloyed It Flnally we have entered our last year of school How glad we th1nk we wlll be to l'6C8lV6 our d1plomas ln June, but, as we pass along the trall of tune, we begxn to reallze that we have to face l1fe Some of us are sorry some of us are glad We glance back over our past years and th1nk how good they have been, how hard It w1ll be to leave our dear old Alma Mater Our members are takmg part ID scholastlc act1v1t1es for the last tlme When we graduate we w1ll be sep arafed but the frlendshlps we have made w1ll hnger on 1n sweet memory forever We are looking forward to our last soclal functlon, the Jumor Sen1or Prom by wh1ch we hope to remember our dear old school At last we must step out xnto the r1ver of hfe Wlll our boat Slllk or w1ll lt cross the rxver of hfe successfully?
