Student Activities Probably the most memorable school events have been extracurricular activities. The success of these projects has depended upon preparations made and excitement created by students themselves. Recalling those times, people have remarked, Remember how hard we worked and how much fun it was? All these activities have provided the proper accent to memories of high school years. Yearbook Records Three Generations of Students This peppy group is the cast for the 1954 Junior Class play, Orchids to Lori : Row 1, (L to R): Cara Lou House Poor, Joellen Tuttle Wilson, Eunice Harp Gray, Barbara Stohler Doughty, Sybil Taylor, Peggy Sinex Gerhart, Susie White Peaell. Row 2: Bill Prosser, David Weber, Marlene Mitton Rowe, Roy Johnson, Nancy Rhodes Sasher, Ronnie Davis, Janet McNelly Culy, Clyde Wisener. Row 3: Wayne Donson — Principal, Roy Craig, Twylo Shaffer Wesley, Annalyn Stockberger Romer, Peggy Watt, Tom Wright, Barbara Harter Foulke, Peter Fox, Charles Ulrich, Bill Brown, Jim Holmes. Drum major, Gerald Metsker, surveys the 1952 HHS band in formation. They are standing in the old football field immediately behind the present elementary building. The Latin Club roman banquet in 1959 fed a hungry crowd. At the serving table are Tom Seffrin, Gloria Miller Worley, Loma Hoover Mendenhall, and Janie Hagen Stevens.

Hard Working Students Prepare for Homecoming; Following lunch, the student body participates in a snake dance which travels through downtown and convenes at a pep rally. Shown working on the music department float, Joe Barnard and Rob Beachler are speaking foreign languages to Popeye. Gary Dimett, loyal class worker, is with senior float.
